Jackson Lee Underwriting was Established in 1991 and we have built a reputation for outstanding service and thrive in providing products that meet the needs of our brokers and customers. We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our expertise and knowledge has meant that we have been BIBA's (British Insurance Brokers Association) exclusive scheme provider for Holiday and Sports Travel Insurance since 2021. Our products are underwritten by 'A' rated UK insurers and we are a Coverholder at Lloyds. What is the maximum age you can insure to?
The Holiday+ Covers up to 85 Years of Age Single Trip / 75 Years of Age Annual Multi Trip.
How many times can I go away if I have an annual multi-trip policy?
When you buy annual multi-trip travel insurance you are covered to go away as many times as you want. Don’t forget however that there is a maximum per trip duration, the length of which depends on the level of cover you have chosen.
45 Days per trip (Upgrade to 60 Days per trip – Maximum Age 75).
What is a UK resident? Are you able to cover non-UK residents?
We define a UK resident as being someone who has been living in the UK or the Channel Islands for at least six months, has a permanent UK address and is registered with a GP. Unfortunately, if you do not fit this criteria, we would not be able to provide you with cover.
I've left the UK and forgotten to get insurance. Can I still get cover with you?
Unfortunately, we are not able to cover you if you have already left the UK.
When should I purchase my travel insurance?
Travel Insurance should be purchased ASAB "As soon as booked" to protect you from unforeseen reasons to cancel as per the terms of your policy.
What Medical conditions do I need to declare?
It is recommend that you disclose any medical condition(s) that you take regular prescribed medication for, or see a Doctor/Medical professional for such as:
Or if In the 12 months before the purchase of this Policy and until the start of any Insured Journey has any Insured Person suffered from a medical condition for which he/she:
Or if any Relative or Colleague of an Insured Person, or travelling companion or friend with whom You are going to travel or stay, suffering from a medical condition which could reasonably be expected to give rise to a claim?
Failure to declare pre-existing conditions could void your insurance and you could find your claim is declined which you definitely want to avoid.
Am I covered if there is a Strike or Industrial Action?
The Policy will cover you under the Sections of Missed Departure and Delay and Abandonment of a journey subject to the following:

An excess is the agreed amount you will pay towards a claim. For your travel insurance policy each person will pay an excess for each section they make a claim for.

We will cover medical evacuation when this is medically necessary and agreed in advance by Our Assistance Company).
Will I be covered for Training and Competition?
Categories 1 - 4 are covered if shown as covered for each Insured Person in the Policy Schedule and appropriate additional premium has been paid for training and competition. For the following activities under Categories 1, 2 , 3 and 4 there is no cover for Personal liability whilst participating in these or related activities.

What’s the Maximum duration I can travel for?
The maximum duration is 540 days. The policy also covers a Voluntary Break.
